Marie's from Sydney, Australia with a Chinese-Vietnamese background, an unshakable love of pretty photos, and tasty food. Dustin's from Kansas City, smack dab in the middle of the US, roughly a 15-hour drive from the nearest beach.

Two opposite corners of the planet, one shared itch to explore. We collided in Bali, and three years later we've got hundreds of hotels, villas, and flights behind us, with no plans to stop.

We filmed our whole story, two people finding love on the other side of the world. It's possible!

Why we do this

We were both stuck grinding in the corporate world, living for the weekend, running the same mundane loops. And we can tell you firsthand: creativity withers under fluorescent office lighting.

Then we each found ourselves working remotely (separately, before we'd even met!) and the same thing clicked for both of us. If we could do our jobs from a home office, why not from a café in Japan? A villa in Bali?

So we escaped the 9-to-5 to chase a life more extraordinary.
